A 38-year-old mother of two in Villarreal, Spain, recently passed away after being bitten by her pet hamster. After the bite, she was rushed to the hospital with her children but collapsed just outside the emergency room. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, she was
pronounced deceased.
While hamster bites are generally not fatal, this case highlights the rare but serious risks of infections or allergic reactions that can occur. An investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of her demise.
